As many people came forward to donate to PM Cares and CM fund relief, to help them combat the deadly Coronavirus which is being a threat to the whole country, people from cinema industry and sports industry are also donating big sum of amount. Due to the 21 days lockdown, many industries are financially affected and the workers of it are suffering in big time. In a way of helping the cinema industry, many of the stars from it are contributing their part for the workers. Superstar Rajinikanth announced Rs.50 lakh for the Film Employees Federation of South India workers.

FEFSI has more than 20 unions, consisting more than 25,000 workers film technicians from different branches of filmmaking such as lightmen, makeup artists, choreographers, dancers, stunt persons, junior artists and others. Actors Sivakarthikeyan, Vijay sethupathi, Suriya donated Rs.10 lakh each for the people who are suffering from their industry.

Now actress Khushboo who has more than 30 years of experience in Tamil cinema, said that she, along with her husband Sundar C donated Rs.5 lakh to help the FEFSI workers. “Me and my better half #SundarC have donated ₹5 lakhs to #FEFSI to help members of our fraternity who have been out of work due to lockdown and have families to take care of.. I request my other colleagues and friends to show large heartedness and come forward to help more.” Khushboo said in her tweet.

To this tweet, one of a twitter user posted an abusive comment against the actress for not helping the people of tamilnadu at this time. His comment disrespected the profession of the “Annamalai” actress. On seeing the Twitter user’s display picture and Twitter handle name, Khushboo said “Ajith should be ashamed to have a fan like you..shame on you loser..”
