Tamilrockers.com is a piracy website that is immensely popular among south Indian movie fans. It is a desi version of the internationally notorious Pirate Bay from where one can download mostly South Indian movies and other content for free via a torrent client. Various popular Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and other language films are routinely uploaded on the site. Although the URL itself is blocked by the government, Tamilrockers can be easily accessed by proxy servers.

Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane’s Netflix TV series’ Sacred Games and Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam 2 were leaked on the site recently. Before that, Rajinikanth’s Kaala too was uploaded on the site. In a country where piracy is rampant, the authorities have been unsuccessful in stopping the tide of illegally ‘ripped’ content.

They have been a nightmare to the filmmakers of Kollywood as well. Vishal, the president of producers council also acting very conscious to have them in police custody which is not happened till date.

Now to our shock the twitter handle of their domain has posted a shocking tweet which says that the film “Sarkar” going to be available as HD Print on their website. Their tweet read “#Sarkar HD Print Coming #SarkarPromoOnSunTV #Vijay #Thalapathy #tamilrockers #TR #Diwali”

Starring Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi, Radha Ravi and real-life politician Palah Karupaih, Sarkar comes across as a political actioner. After Mersal, AR Rahman has teamed up with Vijay again for this film.

In a recent interview, AR Murugadoss, the director of the film, announced that the lead character played by Vijay is inspired by Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google. Talking to a Tamil magazine, Murugadoss revealed that they wanted to meet Sundar before starting the film, but failed to do so. But the director has plans to meet him after the release of Sarkar.

Vijay is playing the role of a ‘corporate criminal’ in Sarkar. AR Murugadoss revealed that Vijay will also have negative shades in the film and he will go through a life-changing moment and will use his corporate gimmicks for a good cause. Contrary to the rumours, Vijay is not playing the role of a politician.
