Actor Vivekh replied to one of a twitter user who posted a fake news about his donation towards Corona relief fund. As lockdown got extended for fourth consecutive time in India due to coronavirus which killed more than 3 lakh people across the world, many industries finding ways to be productive for survival. Daily labours, Industrialists, Entrepreneurs and people working in almost every field are suffering financially due to the Corona outbreak. Tamil Film industry is no exception as production of all the movies got interrupted.

Many actors came forward to help the workers of FEFSI and government financially. Raghava Lawrence donated Rs. 3 crores to fight corona virus and is still donating in various ways. Actor Vijay donated Rs. 1.30 crores whereas actor Ajith donated 1.25 crores. Many actors and directors came forward to reduce their salaries as well.

Now, one of a twitter user came up with a tweet saying that Comedy actor Vivekh provided Rs. 1 Crore to the corona relief fund through Sai Prasanna Foundation.

As soon as this tweet surfaced, Vivekh came up with a reply denying the information. He said that he donated only Rs.5 Lakh to the Corona relief fund. “It is a wrong information. I only gave Rs. 5 lakh from Sai Prasanna foundation to the government regarding the relief fund of Corona. “தவறான தகவல். நான் (கொரானா) நிவாரண நிதியாக 5 லட்சம் மட்டுமே அரசுக்குக் கொடுத்தேன் from Sai Prasanna foundation.” Vivekh’s clarification read.

On seeing this genuinity from the actor, many people lauded him. “That is not a small amount. Eshes” wrote one of a follower whereas another one wrote “That is your hard earned money. It takes a big heart to provide such amount. I wish you and your family to lead a healthy life”
