1) AD AWAY

It is no secret that Google Play doesn’t tolerate application blockers in the store. This is understandable as Ads, are after all, where most of the profits come from. However, this doesn’t mean that there is no way of getting rids of the rather obtrusive ads on Android. AdAway is a free, open source blocker that you can install from the F-droid website. The app only works on rooted device, and it is only available for device using Android 2.1 and above.
