A.Raja’s Derogatory Comment About Chief Minister Edappadi K Pazhaniswamy Created Huge Controversy !!

Days ago, Chief minister Edappadi K Pazhaniswamy warned DMK’s A.Raja to mind his tongue over his comparison between Stalin’s slipper and a state’s chief minister. Now, a derogatory comment made by him on the birth of the joint co-ordinator of the AIADMK party has created a huge controversy. Many including cinema celebrities, political analysts along with the public, has expressed their condemnation over the comment made by A.Raja.

While delivering his campaign speech at Chennai’s Thousand Lights area, A.Raja made a demeaning comment on the birth of Chief minister Edappadi K Pazhaniswamy. He said that DMK leader Stalin was born through a pure relationship and Chief minister Edappadi K Pazhaniswamy was born through an illegal relationship.

Members of various women organisations have lashed out at A.Raja for the way he made his public speech. The way he disrespected a Chief minister has made public and the observers of Tamil nadu politics angry, says reports. “It once again proves that DMK is a party against women” said public, according to a report.

Political analysts have alleged that the members of DMK are making such cheap comments due to the frustration of grabbing the governance. A tweet from the official twitter account of DMK leader Kanimozhi surfaced saying that no one will be spared if they make offensive comment about women.

“No matter who the political leader is, abusing women and offending them personally is condemnable. If this gets followed by everyone, it is good for the society. This what Periyaar and Dravidian movement wanted” she said through her tweet by writing “அரசியல் தலைவர்கள் யாராக இருந்தாலும் பெண்களை இழிவு படுத்தி தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் விமர்சனம் செய்வது கண்டிக்கத்தக்கது. இதை எல்லோருமே மனதிலே வைத்துக்கொண்டால் இந்த சமூகத்திற்கு நல்லது. இதுதான் திராவிட இயக்கமும் பெரியாரும் விரும்பிய சமூகநீதி ஆகும்.”

Many other tweets from public and other notable personalities were made against the speech of A. Raja.
