The 21 days of lockdown is likely to extend and there is no official word on it yet in state Tamilnadu. The number of positive corona cases went past 1000 in Tamilnadu and it is increasing in daily manner. The state and central government is doing all the ways to prevent the virus from spreading in the state. As it is highly believed that the lockdown extension will last at least till 30th of April, a man who stuck in some other district, requested chief Minister Edappadi Pazhaniswamy to give at least one day gap to reach his 9 months pregnant wife.

He asked the Chief Minister Of Tamilnadu to provide one day gap at least. “No one is there with my wife. I got stuck in a neighbour district. It’s her first pregnancy. How can she handle it alone ? Even if she have to call 108 ambulance, some one has to be with her. I applied for pass and there is no response as well. Don’t you consider this as a medical emergency ?” he asked in the reply to a post updated by Chief Minister Edappadi K Pazhaniswamy.

This tweet attained the attention of the official twitter account of Chief Minister Edappadi K Pazhaniswamy. The official handle asked him to provide the contact number. “The government will take all the efforts to save both Mother and the child” the reply tweet read. “உடனடியாக தங்களை தொடர்பு கொள்ள வேண்டிய தொலைபேசி எண்ணை தெரிவிக்கவும் தம்பி. நிச்சயமாக தாயையும், சேயையும் பாதுகாக்கத் தேவையான அனைத்து உதவிகளையும் அரசு செய்து கொடுக்கும்.”

Faiz Arshi, the online user replied by saying that he got the pass to reach his home. “I feel so proud to get a reply from you in your hectic schedule. I have only one request. Please provide passes to all those who are in critical situation. Lot of people are struggling due to lack of response.” his reply said.
