The online fights between Ajith and Vijay fans get ugly on Twitter time and again. Recently, a hashtag #RIPactorVijay was trending on the microblogging site as Ajith fans took on their rivals. Many memes and comments, in bad taste, were tweeted with the hashtag about the Mersal actor by fans of Ajith Kumar.

This didn’t go down well with many neutral fans and the fans of other actors. The divide even irked few celebrities including Ravichandran Ashwin. The popular spin bowler, in a tweet, expressed his disappointment with the ‘young generation’ who were instrumental in making the distasteful hashtag trend online.

He wrote, “There was an asteroid that missed hitting our planet a few days ago, irregular monsoons hitting different cities, droughts in many parts of our country and very disturbing criminal cases being spoken, but the young generation of our lovey state manage to trend this #RIPactorVIJAY.”

Followed by Ashwin, now actor Sibi Raj, son of Sathya Raj also opened on the issue. The “Student No.1” actor, in his tweet wrote “Disgusting to see some idiots trending a negative hashtag!History has proven that it only makes a person stronger.Better luck next time morons! #LongLiveVIJAY #IgnoreNegativity” with a picture of Vijay saying Ignore Negativity.

Sibi raj is a fan of Thalapathy Vijay since his childhood. He is known for acting films with his father in initial stage of his career. Later he went on to play the protagonist roles in films like Lee, Naigal Jakkirathai, Sathya etc. Like his father, Sibiraj excelled in antagonist roles in films like Naanayam and Pokkiri Raja.

Its been a long time since actor Ajithkumar and Vijay declared as official rivals. Only on few occasions both these actors movies released together but on that day the opening of both the movies would be a deadly one.

Though the actors themselves enjoying a healthy friendship between them, verbal spats between their fans has always been a never ending one.
