People are also using masks that are embroidered with various designs and using them to attend ceremonies such as marriage etc. Now, a man named Manoj Sengar went several steps ahead and bought a mask that is made of Rs. 5 lakh and grabbed the headlines of prominent news channels.

Reports suggests that Manoj Sengar who is popularly known as “Manojanand Maharaj” is being called as “Golden baba” by the people of the locality in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. After buying the mask for Rs. 5 lakh, the “Golden Baba” expressed his concern on people not wearing their safety masks properly. Considering the spread of the second wave of COVID 19 virus, Sengar believed that the expensive mask is going to help him.

Manoj Sengar reportedly said that the mask is triple coated, sanitized and believes it to sustain for three long years.

“I take all the precautions and I have two armed bodyguards to protect me all the time” he reportedly said to the media platforms. Manoj who is known for his passion for “Gold”, has named the mask as “Shiv Sharan Mask”. He is wearing a four other gold chains which together weighs around 250 grams, according to reports.

Some of the other valuable possessions he owns that are made of Gold are conch shell, fish and lord Hanuman’s locket. He also has a pair of Gold earrings, a golden cover for his revolver annd three gold belts which gained him the name “Golden” man of Kanpur. The ₹ 5 Lakh worth golden mask has caused numerous hilarious reactions in social media platforms.
