Pia Lost Her Brother After Trying To Get Ventilator Bed Through Social Media !! Internet Mourns

The shortage of medical equipment is hitting the country hard more than the virus. Actress Pia who is known among Tamil audience for acting in films such as “Goa”, “Ko” announced that she lost her brother. Hours before, she uploaded a couple of tweets seeking help from social media to get a hospital bed with ventilator. The actress’s tweet on her brother’s demise left the users of social media dejected. Many including Tamil actor Shanthanu consoled the actress after knowing about her loss.

“I need urgent help in district Farukhabad , kayamganj block .UP.. a bed wd ventilator ..my brother is dying ..any lead plz help” Pia wrote in her first tweet and added another tweet saying “I need urgent help in district Farukhabad , kayamganj block .UP.. a bed wd ventilator ..my brother is dying ..any lead plz help. Plz Contact if u know anybody -9415191852 Abhishek.. we are already in mess” on Tuesday.

Two hours later, Pia came up with a tweet announcing about her brother’s demise. “my brother is no more…” she wrote in her tweet.

“Really sorry for your loss. condolences to your family” Tamil actor Shanthanu consoled the actress with many other celebrities from industries and public people expressing their grief.

Days before, Pia posted a motivational note of Ash Alves on her Instagram handle to encourage her fans to stay strong at such a difficult time. “Warrior. Remind yourself of what you’ve been able to overcome. All the times you felt like you weren’t going to make it through, you proved yourself wrong. You’re more powerful than you think – Ash Alves.” read her post.

India is currently combatting the second wave of COVID 19 virus and the shortage of medical facilities such as hospital beds, oxygen cylinders caused massive deaths all over the country. It has been reported that 3449 people died in the country in the last 24 hours. The total cases of COVID-19 in India have now mounted to 2,02,82,833, with 34,47,133 active cases, according to the data. The total death toll in the country is now at 2,22,408, according to reports.
