Video of Superatar Rajinikanth’s make up man Sundara moorthy revealing about the reason behind the “Padayappa” actor’s hair loss got surfaced in social media platforms now. Rajinikanth who is known for his huge fan base, rose to fame among cinema audience through his stylish screen space. His unique hairstyle still has a separate fan base and the video of the make up man explaining about the reason behind the hair loss of the actor is doing rounds now.

Superstar Rajinikanth whose career spans more than 40 long years, has earned the highest number of fans comparing to all the actors in India. Being debuted in Aboorva Ragangal of Balachander, Rajinikanth managed to act in 167 film so far and is still giving nightmare to his rivals. The actors of his age in India started doing supportive roles whereas Rajinikanth is still doing the role of protagonist in his movies and the most special thing about it is, the level of craze is still no less comparing to the level of craze he had in his prime period.

He was last seen in A.R Murugadoss’s “Darbar” and is expected to appear in “Annaththe” of “Siruthai” Siva who is known for his commercial blockbusters such as Siruthai, Veeram, Viswasam etc. Now, a video of veteran make up man Sundaramoorthy revealing about the reason behind Rajinikanth’s hairstyle is doing rounds in social media platforms.

“He often combed his hair during the shooting of his films. When they say it is time for “shot”, he would comb the hair completely and would shake his head to get his hairstyle for the film. He has this habit of adjusting his hair often. Generally, other artists would comb their air for once and would act for a whole day. But Rajinikanth would comb it for every shot and it ruined the root of his hair” Sundara moorthy said in the interaction with Vikatan.

“The other reason for his hair loss is hair dyeing. Hair would start falling off once you start dyeing your hair. He himself would say that he lost his hair due to the dye. Apart from these, the Nicotine from the Cigarettes he smokes would spoil his hair growth as well. He would also keep adjusting his hair even now, due to the habit” he said and shared about his experience with Rajinikanth while working in the film “Avargal”.

Sundara moorthy also shared how the 1988 Hollywood film “Blood Stone” made an impact in the hair loss of Rajinikanth. “Makers of that Hollywood film changed his hairstyle, according to their audience. That’s when Rajinikanth started changing his hairstyle completely. Root of his hair started disappearing after he got used to that hairstyle and I made use of “patch” for films such as “Baassha”, “Muthu” etc. Till “Chandramukhi”, we used patches and he used a complete wig only in few films” Sundaramoorthy said.
