Tamil Cinema Mourns For The Demise Of KV Anand !!

Cinematographer cum Director KV Anand died of cardiac arrest at the age of 54 in Chennai. He who started his career as a photo journalist, went on to assist ace cinematographer PC Sri ram in films such as Devar Magan, Amaran, Meera, Gopura Vaasalile, Thiruda Thiruda etc. He ventured as filmmaker through 2005 film “Kana Kanden” and went on to make quality films based on chemicals and chemistry.

The filmmaker suffered a heart attack in the wee hours of Friday and passed away at 3 am at a hospital. His last rites took place at Besant Nagar crematorium in Chennai and people were not allowed to pay their last respects as it is a death related to COVID 19 complications, according to Indian express.
While people from film industry are still mourning for the demise of actor Vivekh, this news caused caused shockwaves among the fans and celebrities. From Tamil superstar Rajinikanth to Telugu star Allu Arjun, almost all the celebrities from south Indian film industry uploaded tweets remembering the ace filmmaker.
“Absolutely shocked. My heart feels so heavy… painful. Just can’t digest.. I lost a very dear friend K.V a wonderful cinematographer, and a brilliant director. This loss can never be compensated. I will miss you my dear friend.R.I.P🙏My deepest condolences to his family and friends” Director Shankar who worked with him in “Sivaji” film wrote in his tweet with a hashtag saying “RIPKVAnand” trending in twitter.
