Vijay’s Director Replied To Those Who Criticized Him !!

After donating Rs.1.30 crores to the corona relief fund, actor Vijay is getting lauded by many. Among the 1.30 crores, he announced 50 Lakhs to CM relief Fund, 25 Lakhs to PM relief fund, 25 Lakhs to FEFSI Union, 10 Lakhs to Kerala CM Fund, 5 Lakhs to Karnataka CM Relief fund, 5 Lakhs to Telangana CM relief fund, 5 Lakhs to Andhra CM relief fund and 5 Lakhs to Puducherry CM relief fund.

As soon as the announcement surfaced, it went viral as he was highly expected to make his announcement regarding the donation for past one month. Puducherry chief minister Narayanaswamy thanked Vijay for being the first cinema actor to donate money to the state. Having around 2.42 lakh people as its population, the state has requested Rs.995 crores as corona relief fund but haven’t received any yet.

“There are lot of movies being filmed in Puducherry. Many actor, actresses, producers and directors are visiting our place as well. They all owe to our state. I appreciate the generous gesture of actor Vijay and I ask other film industry members to help our state” Chief minister Narayanaswamy said in his statement. Along with him, many fans and celebrities also appreciated Vijay’s gesture with their whole heart.

Meanwhile, director Perarasu who directed Vijay in films like Thiruppachi and Sivakasi, posted a tweet slamming people who trolled actor Vijay all these days for not announcing any donation. “Blaming someone without patience is a biggest fault that people are commiting. Thalapathy once again proved his generous attitude. He is glittering as a Tamilian who loves Dravidam. I Thank him by bowing my head” Perarasu said in his tweet. “ஒருவரை அவசரப்பட்டு குறை கூறுவதே, மனிதர்களின் பெருங்குறை! தளபதி தானத்தளபதி என்று மீண்டும் நிரூபித்து விட்டார். திராவிடத்தை நேசிக்கும் தமிழனாய் தளபதி மிளிர்கிறார்! தளபதி விஜய்க்கு தலைவணங்கி நன்றிகள் கோடி!” read his tweet.

So many speculations kept surfacing regarding the contribution of Actor Vijay from Day 1 of lockdown announcement. Many trolled the actor’s scene in Mersal movie in which he acted as a Doctor who treats his patients for just Rs.5. Referring the scene, many users of social media trolled the actor for keeping mum. In a way of shutting all the trolls and criticisms down, Vijay made this announcement on Wednesday.

Actor Ajithkumar gave Rs. 1.25 crores as his part. The actor reportedly provided Rs.25 lakhs for FEFSI workers and Rs.50 Lakhs for CM fund relief and Rs.50 Lakhs for Prime Minister relief fund. In addition to the amount, Ajith also provided Rs.2.5 lakhs for the PRO union. Lawrence provided Rs.3 crore and became the highest donated member of Kollywood. In that 3 crore, Lawrence gave Rs.50 lakhs to PM cares, 50 lakhs to CM relief, 50 lakhs to dancers union, 25 lakhs to physically abled boys and 75 lakhs to the daily labour’s and for the people from his birthplace Royapuram, Desiyanagar.
