The entire world is celebrating Christmas in a most celebrative way. As we all know, Christmas is a Christian holiday worshiping the birth of Jesus Christ, who is believed to be the son of God. The festival of Christmas, which is celebrated on 25 December every year, has evolved over two eras into a global secular and religious celebration.

The word Christmas originates from Ctistes Maesses, which is an early English phrase that stands for the mass of Christ. Today, Christmas is a much-awaited festival for families and friends to get together and exchange gifts and cards. Irrespective of religion, people across the country are celebrating the Christmas day with joy.
Meanwhile, twitter user named as Shefali Vaidya posted a tweet in a way of complaining that no Christian is wishing his/her fellow Christian for a Hindu festival like Ganesh Chaturthi. She even said that no Muslim friend is wishing his fellow Muslim for another religion’s festival and added that she is getting many messages in her personal whatsapp inbox regarding the wishes for Christmas.
Check out her tweet here :
Never saw a Christian wishing another Christian on Ganesh Chaturthi, or a Muzlim wishing another Muzlim Happy Buddha Poornima, but today my WA is full of Yindoos wishing other Yindoos on Christmas, not just in groups, but individually as well! Amazing people we are!

Surprisingly this tweet received more than seven thousand likes so far and two thousand five hundred shares. However, actor Shanthanu who is known for acting in films like Siddhu plus two, Chakkarakatti etc posted a reply tweet, in a way of countering her tweet.

In his tweet Shanthanu said it has nothing to do with Hinduism. In his tweet, the actor wrote “Dear periyamma, this has nothing to do with Hinduism! We derive more happiness in wishing our fellow Indians a happy Eid or merry Christmas than wishing amongst ourselves ! WE STAND FOR UNITY & We find NO DIFFERENCE IN OUR BLOOD but only In the names which were taught to us”
