The strict curfews, the no-party rules and lying through your tooth just to get the chance to go out with friends came as a part of life if you had strict parents growing up. Now, that we’re all older, we can understand that it came from a place of love and protection but back when we were growing up, it seemed pretty harsh and looking back, we have gotten some pretty funny stories out of it.
